Applying for Housemanship in Malaysia (Part 3)

SPA Application  

So , you are done with MMA and KKM application , and now you are left with SPA to apply which can be apply on the same day you submit KKM application . For this you have to go to Seluruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Awam(SPA) website to register employment in public service SPAi8 .

How to Apply

This step is done via ONLINE only. No form need to be printed/submitted. You can start creating your account and fill up some details even before you submit your MMC and KKM application. But, you can only submit/complete your SPA application once you have your provisional registration certificate number given by MMC .

Instructions to register and complete the forms on SPA website:

• First, you need to go to SPAi8 webpage (link to SPAi8 ). 
• Create an account by pressing the "daftar myid baru" button for first time user. You need your IC number as username and set up a password (please do not forget)
• Login to SPAi8 using your account username & password.
• Fill up those details:

1. Maklumat Pemohon
2. Maklumat Akademik (PMR, SPM will be autofill, STPM (if applicable), Pengajian Tinggi & Professional/Iktisas/SKM/SVM)
3. Maklumat Ko-kurikulum
4. Maklumat Tambahan
5. Jawatan dipohon
6. Pengakuan Pemohon
7. Semakan Permohonan

Next step

Once you submit your application ,you can call and ask help from SPA staffs(link to SPA hotline ) to check for completion of your application form once you submitted.It's really important to call SPA and confirm to avoid any setback  .

There is no more interview. Therefore next step is to wait for an email from KKM letting you know of your ehouseman application date. You will be notify once ehouseman  ( e-housemanship link ) system is ready for your intake. Ehouseman application is where you apply for your placement/ workplace , you can check from time to time to keep yourself update .
